Terms of use
Last updated:
1. Scope
These terms govern access to and use of marketextent.com, including its public content and contact form. By using the site, you acknowledge that you have read them.
These website terms do not replace a proposal, contract, confidentiality agreement, or the terms of a paid project. If a separately signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement controls for that service.
2. Operator and service
MarketExtent is operated by Stefan Stoica, an individual based in Bucharest, Romania. Use the contact form for website or service enquiries.
If a paid project is agreed, the legal and tax details of the contracting party will be stated in the relevant proposal, contract, and fiscal documents.
MarketExtent works with marketplace sellers and e-commerce businesses on strategy, intelligence, tools, integrations, automation, and custom systems. Public content may discuss marketplace, seller, product, catalog, brand, company, and financial signals. MarketExtent may also coordinate introductions to marketplaces or operational providers.
A marketplace or third-party provider supplies its own product, onboarding, and service under its own terms. The site and services are intended primarily for professional users. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply remain unaffected.
3. The contact form does not create a contract
Service pages, contact buttons, and the form invite a discussion. They are not binding offers. Submitting a request does not require MarketExtent to accept a project, make an introduction, or reply within a guaranteed period. It does not create a contract, partnership, exclusivity, or entitlement to compensation or a referral fee.
A paid engagement requires separate agreement on scope, deliverables, dependencies, timing, fees, applicable tax, payment and cancellation terms, confidentiality, usage rights, and each party's responsibilities.
4. Data, methodology, and limits
Analysis may combine signals about marketplaces, sellers, storefronts, products, catalogs, brands, and companies, including financial results where available. Coverage differs by source, country, platform, and period.
A company, seller, storefront, domain, product, and brand are different units. An observed signal is not automatically a conclusion about a whole market, and correlation does not prove causation. Any material statistic should be read with its date, unit, coverage, and stated limits.
Public content is aggregated. The site does not publish or provide access to individual seller contacts, identities, outreach lists, or seller-level financial results.
5. Informational and professional work
Public content is informational. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice. It does not guarantee demand, sales, profit, marketplace acceptance, or the future performance of a category, business, or strategy.
Bespoke work is professional analysis and judgement within the agreed scope and available information. A result may support action, a limited test, further investigation, or a decision not to proceed. It does not remove commercial uncertainty or replace legal, fiscal, logistical, or operational checks.
6. Partners, referrals, and affiliate relationships
MarketExtent may have commercial relationships with marketplaces, software providers, or other suppliers. It may receive referral fees, affiliate commission, or compensation for a joint programme.
When such a relationship is relevant to a recommendation or introduction, its nature or compensation will be disclosed in the appropriate context before the handoff. This may be next to compensated content or a link, on a specific page, in a proposal, or in the conversation. A recommendation should remain based on the observed fit and available evidence.
An introduction does not guarantee acceptance, pricing, terms, onboarding time, or commercial results. The third party's own terms, contracts, and policies apply to its offer and service.
7. Contact submissions and privacy
A request is stored before any optional internal notification. A success message confirms that the message was technically recorded. It does not confirm project acceptance or a response deadline. The current site does not operate a newsletter.
Personal data submitted through the form is handled under theprivacy policy.
8. Information you submit
You are responsible for submitting accurate, relevant information that you have the right to disclose. Do not use the form to send:
- passwords, API keys, credentials, or access information;
- contact lists or personal data about sellers, customers, or employees;
- special categories of personal data;
- illegal, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing content;
- trade secrets that require protection under a confidentiality agreement.
Submitting the form does not automatically create a duty of confidentiality. If a discussion requires sensitive business information, the parties may first agree a separate confidentiality agreement.
9. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may access public content for your own information and internal analysis. You may share links and quote short extracts with attribution to MarketExtent and a link to the source.
Without prior written permission, you may not:
- republish all or a substantial part of the content;
- resell analysis or include it in a commercial service;
- alter content in a way that misrepresents its meaning;
- systematically scrape the site or bypass technical protections;
- use the content to train a model.
The site's text, structure, design, graphics, selection and interpretation of data, and MarketExtent identity belong to the operator or are used with the appropriate rights. Protection applies to selection, structure, methodology, and databases where recognised by law, not to facts themselves. Third-party rights in their sources and marks remain with their owners.
10. Third-party links and services
The site may link to marketplaces, providers, sources, or other websites. A link or mention does not by itself mean partnership, endorsement, or a guarantee. A relevant commercial relationship is disclosed separately.
MarketExtent does not control a third party's availability, security, content, or policies. Review that party's terms and privacy information before using its service.
11. Availability and liability
We take reasonable care to keep the site useful, accurate, and available. External sources can change, data can be delayed or incomplete, and the site may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or third-party infrastructure issues.
To the extent permitted by law, MarketExtent is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or lost opportunity resulting solely from use of public content, temporary site unavailability, or the actions of a third-party service. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or replace obligations expressly accepted in a separate contract.
12. Changes, governing law, and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the site, services, or applicable law. The current version and update date appear on this page. An update does not retroactively change an existing separate contract unless that contract permits it or the parties agree in writing.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. The parties should first try to resolve any disagreement directly and reasonably. If that is not possible, the competent courts are determined by applicable law. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction and protections, where applicable, remain unaffected.
For questions about these terms, use thecontact form.
